The Curvy CEO in her own words
“Curvy CEO” is the alias of the writer behind the blog of the same name. During the day, she is a lawyer and lobbyist – pounding the pavement on Capitol Hill, attending congressional hearings and briefings, setting up meetings to represent client interests before Congress and the White House. Despite having such a “serious” job, her undying love of all things style, and beauty, caused her to constantly search for “the perfect” blazer, handbag, dress, or statement neckpiece. Soon, she became the “go to” person among her friends and colleagues for fashion advice. It was the never-ending quest to find corporate, but cute plus-size attire that guided Curvy CEO to start her blog in the first place.

I'm living that Curvy Girl Life by building my dream. Since its launch in September 2011, CurvyCEO.com has expanded to include life and career advice as well. Popular blog features include the Monday Morning Memo – a weekly quote, often accompanied by a few words of reflection and inspiration; the “Real-Life Curvy CEO” series – interviews with plus-size women entrepreneurs; and, Workwear Wednesdays – a mid-week outfit post.
In addition to regular postings, Curvy CEO has also expanded to include live events and styling services!

Saturday, November 8, Curvy CEO is joining forces with eight other plus-size bloggers across the DC metropolitan area to host Shopaholics Suite:
– A Curvy Shopping Event! Featuring many brand new, never worn or gently used items, ranging from sizes 12 and up, this event caters exclusively to the plus-sized woman looking to restyle her look for a fraction of the cost. In addition to clothing and accessories, additional vendors will also be on site offering an assortment of products and services, including on-site beauty treatments. Light complimentary fare will be provided to all
guests. The day's events will also include several giveaways! Tickets are available for purchase starting at just $5!!
Friday, November 7, Curvy CEO begins a six-week holiday edition of her plus-size exercise
group, Work Your Curves! Classes will be taught by SerenaFit. The cost is $25 per class. Each class will take place at Fit 360 (3220 17th Street NW). Only five spots are available for each class and you MUST pre-register HERE.
