Curves Rock Fashion Weekend - The Plus Size Fashion Trends You Should Know
If you were in Baltimore this past weekend you saw curves of every kind as Curves Rock Fashion Weekend ran the city. I've talked about Curves Rock before but here's the back-story for new readers.
With a focus on more than fashion, Curves Rock has quickly become THE authority on plus size fashion and a must see show. This year they planned a fitness class, exclusive blogger brunch, an all day expo with various vendors, and a Sunday kickball for a cause charity event. And of course the main attraction, the designer fashion showcase on Saturday night.

I had the pleasure of once again walking for Curves Rock. (That's me ^) It's always a good time, all of the models in the show are positive, ambitious and encouraging. The energy and vibe I've always felt at Curves Rock was a major motivation for me to start Curvy Girl Chronicles! I want to spread that same energy into the world.
ENOUGH HISTORY - ON TO THE CLOTHES AND TRENDS!
Ashley Stewart was the title sponsor so I'll start with them. Check out their fall collection, amazing denim, fringe and fur.

What stood out to me was Ashley's Stewart's holiday collection!! Where's the party, I'm ready.
Texture with feathers and fur are clearly on trend. Metallics and sequins are bold looks for the coming holiday season.
The Trends: Metallics, Sequins, Fringe and Prints.
Ashley Stewart wasn't the only hot look, 9 designers showed. Here are some of my fave looks from some of the other designers. Click the pic to link to their site.

WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER MISS THIS SHOW
Body Positivity abounded, there was a reminder to love yourself at every curve, PINK carpet interviews, and Fierceness and Fun. If you're a fan of women supporting women you should definitely try to attend the next one. Oh and of course, the number 1 reason to attend you have models breaking it down like this!!

Last but not least as a plus size model AND blogger I had some backstage access. No other blogger has behind the scenes videos. See them on my Instagram page, click the link or just glance on my home page.
