Wednesday, October 14, is National Curves Day. Yes, you read that right, a day for positive self talk, celebrating curves and body confidence.
National Curves Day (NCD) is the brainchild of K. Secret, founder of Jon Marc/Seven Curves clothing line. Every Wednesday for the last two years. K. Secret would post positive Curvy body messages on her social media account and call it Curves Day. The response from her followers was so overwhelming, she created - National Curves Day.
K. Secret says "National Curves Day is to celebrate the curvy and plus size community. This will encourage women to embrace and love who they are, and stop body shaming, themselves."
Here's how you can be a part of the movement:
Join the Thunderclap and tweet out your support.
Take a Selfie or an Usie wearing red on October 14 and share on social media, using the #NCD15 or #CurvyBombshell hash tag.
Change your profile image on Facebook and Twitter to the Stop Body Shaming image.
