Why People Are Hating on This Vogue Magazine Cover
Body shaming is soooo 2007.
Vogue magazine recently released a cover featuringthe American girl we had several models on the cover different sizes different ethnicities. I may have been most excited about Curve Model Ashley Graham being featured on the cover and in the magazine.

This is a win!
I for one think this is a win. A win against the idea of homogeneity. A win against people who say there's one standard of beauty. However, on social media, where Twitter fingers and keyboard bullies abound, I've seen everything from people saying curvy model Ashley Graham shouldn't be there because she's unhealthy, to this isn't body diversity because Vogue is trying to strategically hide Ashley's body with arm placement. Nevermind the fact that she's on the beach, in shorts, thighs out like all the other women. Then there is the flipside, people saying the other girls are too skinny they look disgusting. Body shaming goes both ways.
